You have a significant role to play in the on-going effective running of each home. There are a myriad of opportunities for you to become involved. We are interested and passionate about what makes you tick - what is causing you to read this - and how we can help you to contribute in ways which are meaningful and empowering to you. God's economy works like that - blessed to be a blessing, symbiotic relationships bring fruitful and sustained results.

Consider your giftings, strengths, passions, hobbies, skills. Next consider what time you have available to give on a regular basis. Now contact us and we can discuss your 'fit' within our organization.

Some ideas for you -

• Gardening - regularly on a Tuesday for a few hours, joining a fun team.
   
• Cleaning - Mon-Wed-Fri for a few hours; or a few hours a month cleaning windows, oven, walls.
   
• Sewing - repairs, making clothes for the children or teaching them how to sew/knit/crochet etc
   
• Maintenance - helping to keep our homes in good shape.
   
• Homework - after police and medical clearance, and given the expertise, you could commit to regular time each week to help in this area.
   
• Creative Arts - music, art, dance, drama - perhaps you have your own school and could sponsor a child? Or would you like to come in a take a group during the holidays?
   
• Cultural - it is critical that we support and nurture the cultural roots of our children. Please help us do this effectively, appropriately and meaningfully.
   
• Prayer - prayer partner, prayer for the organization or a specific aspect of Homes of Hope - this is foundational to our work.
   
• Mentoring - after police clearance, medical checks, interviews and training you could be mentoring a child and supporting and nurturing their development. Mentors have a valuable role to play in support of the overall restoration, well-being and development in a child's life.
   
• Fundraising - have you the gift of turning over $s and multiplying them? You could be working with your own satellite group raising funds in areas which are your strength. You may like to consider joining a Core Fundraising Team to work on specific projects or events.
   
• Capacity Building - do you have particular expertise in a certain discipline? Accounting/book-keeping/social work/law/graphics/advertising/marketing.
