Over 5000 NZ children are in foster care due to serious neglect or abuse and, despite best intentions, they are often separated from their brothers and sisters and can change families up to 3 times per year.
We are passionate about delivering the very best foster care services for children from hard places and have suffered abuse and/or neglect. We prevent brothers and sisters from being separated and ensure stability of their care for as long as it is needed.
Our overall goal is to restore health and wholeness to each child so that they are able to take their place in society – confident, competent and fulfilled.
We keep sibling groups together when they come in to care within a community setting of homes. We provide wrap-around therapeutic support to each child.We provide specialised training and support to all our foster carers and team.
We have already cared for over 250 children. Some are now young adults.
