Tame and Jordene 1

Meet our two epic Caregivers Tame and Jordene. Tame has played an impressive 400+ games for his beloved club Huria over the years and also played two seasons of rugby in Wales! He is the Junior Rugby Coordinator for Huria which is where he first met most of the tamariki at Homes of Hope. Jordene is Arataki born and bred and affiliates to both Tauranga Moana and Te Arawa. She was a hairdresser for 17 years and currently works at Mauao Adventures providing stand up paddle boarding, waka ama and cultural hikoi experiences. Both Tame and Jordene love being in the great outdoors and keeping fit. They love their whānau and friends and look forward to summer beach vibes.

Tame loves a good boil up, while Jordene is in her happy place eating either Thai or seafood. They are both highly valued and liked by the team and the tamariki they care for, and have made huge impacts on the lives of all who have spent time with them here at Homes of Hope.
